Create and save a reflection
Open Today and type a de-identified shift note, or record a case. Tap Create reflection, review the privacy check and displayed text, then approve the optional cloud request. Review the generated case, insight and next action. Tap Save reflection; a saved confirmation appears and the entry is available in Library. Use New reflection to start another entry.
Correct a transcript
Record a case lets you review the audio and approve upload for cloud transcription. Replay the recording, edit mistakes and check medication names, doses and negations before using the transcript. Optional wording suggestions are only applied after you select and approve them. You can always type instead. Transcription and AI suggestions cannot verify what happened clinically.
A privacy warning appears
Remove the highlighted identifier, review the rest of your text and run the check again. Do not include patient names, record numbers, exact dates, addresses or other identifying details. Automated checks are not a guarantee of de-identification.
AI or recording is unavailable
Check your internet connection for cloud features and microphone permissions in iPhone Settings. On-device dictation depends on available English speech assets and device support. Keep or edit your local text, use the manual template, or retry later. Do not repeatedly record real patient information while troubleshooting.
Find a saved entry or change its rating
Open Library and select the entry. Use Edit to change its content or optional shift rating. Ratings describe your experience of the shift; they are not a measure of clinical ability.
Share a card
From a saved entry, open Share card. Swipe left or right to turn between case/management and insight/next action. A short pull returns to the starting side. Review both sides before tapping Share. The iOS share sheet offers images and an interactive HTML file. Images are static; the HTML needs a browser capable of running its interaction. The app does not currently create hosted public share links.
Manage personal memory
Use the introduction and memory controls in Settings or Insights to review or correct your local information, turn memory off, or forget individual memories. Forgetting memory does not delete the original Library entry. Deleting an entry also removes its related memory.
Delete local data
Use Settings → Delete all local data to remove the journal, learning prompts, introduction and memory from this installation. Export anything you want to keep first. Deleting local data or removing the app does not cancel an Apple subscription or delete Apple's transaction records.
Restore Pro access
Use the Apple Account that made the purchase and open ShiftPearls Settings → Restore Purchases. Check the subscription in your iPhone's Apple Account settings. An expired or canceled subscription may not provide current Pro access.
Cancel a subscription or request a refund
Apple manages billing and refund requests. Use the official Apple instructions below. ShiftPearls does not receive your full payment-card information.

Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. This support site currently provides self-service guidance; it does not have a message-submission form. Never send patient information in an app review or a support request.
